Pitcher an ancient device to keep water cool

History is the witness of pitchers port and its cooling power. It was being used when refrigerators were not invented. In summer season everyone wants to drink cold water hence it was needed to invent a port which can keep water cold or able to provide us cold water. Ceramist or potstone has invented this device since ago. I have used it in my village home and i had a different cool taste of water with soil flavour.

People keep it on wet sands always and they wash this port every morning and again fill water into it. However now time has been changed so ceramist has given advance looks with a tap. When i used it there was no tap point in pitcher and we withdrew water from glass or other similar port.

I have captured this photo in a developed town hence it is also being used in town in these days also. I would like to say that due to natural way of cooling water people are still using this. I think there is very less chances of cold and coughs attacks if you drink cold water of it than refrigerater.
