The Wife's Away, Break Out Some Play!
Well, in a good sense, if you know what I mean.
Yes, the good old CD. A stack of these old treasures from my yesterday, were tucked away doing nothing but collecting dust for god knows how long. I've got most of them already backed up to a hard drive, but looking at that artwork and letting those nostalgic memories come flooding through again? That's something I truly miss and today somehow managed to summon up enough curiosity to actually dig them out and slap them in the player.
Hang on. Player? Lol, and then I just remembered. When was the last time I used one of these shiny sparkling discs? Luckily, my DVD unit on the computer should suffice. Weird to say, but it conjured a completely different set of feelings knowing I was listening to my old skool classics on this medium. I'd also mention that I bought most of these many years ago, so I guess it probably rekindled fond memories of the life I had back then. A carefree and irresponsible one, lol.

Ow yeah, I call old memories the donkey memory. It just a time someone do enjoy his time remembering. Flash back and play back in a old way of life is just always amazing.

What are your stuff like these mountainous CDs? In my memory, the CD was something more than 20 years ago. It was very popular at that time. I often rent CDs. Most of the CDs are movies. Now I really think of it aftertaste.

Awww, sometimes we can’t let go of things attached to good memories, they are valualess because you can never buy memories once it’s lost. All this time passing away are stored in the valley of memories, good and old memories but sometimes , memories are comforting and reassuring. Never let go of those cds, they might be worth millions in future .... just kidding
Well said! I've always had a problem letting go of the past. Therefore referring to these "items" can really bring out strong emotional connections.

Been turning back the clock today with some old classic jams, lol. I love vinyl. Honestly, I do hear the difference in format quality and appreciate on a whole nother level. And yes, Linda was pleased with my selections too... :)
