There's Mayhem on the Streets!
One of the most annoying things about London life has got to be the level of congestion on the roads. Most of the time, it feels like you're constantly boxed in like a mouse trapped in an endless maze. But for the last few days, major roadworks have cranked the traf-o-meter way up to 11!
Appaently, we've had a water leak somewhere in an unknown underground pipe that needs mending. The noise, the commotion and general unease in the locality is palpable. Every weekday at around 6, we get the usual slew of rush hour chaos ensuing down our street. But today was like world war 3 out there!
Frustrated commuters blaring their horns, swearing at each other, gesturing middle fingers in all directions. It was, at times, scary. And to make matters worse, we've seen notice boards up that says we got another 2 weeks of this crap. So much for the peace of living the quiet suburban city life...
