One of the Best "Sichuan" Chinese Restaurants I've Ever Been To...
While from the outside, it may seem like quite an inconspicuous establishment, let me assure you, the food served inside is anything but...
London is still enjoying a mini heatwave and it's enthused inhabitants are making the most out of it. Thus, some good friends of ours recommended we try out a new find for them. This Sichuan Chinese restaurant called "Weizi Prawn Hot Pot" (located in Hammersmith), though they do offer other dishes of the pork, chicken and beef variety. And I must say, I was blown away by some of the food I tried in there. Sichuan food is more spicy than traditional Chinese delicacies and originates from Southwest China.
And living with a Chinese wife, I've tried my fair share of oriental-based menus from numerous places. But this is easily one of the best. So, we've no only just finished up on a beautiful early dinner but have the rest of the evening to chill out and enjoy. Surrounded by great people and friend. What better way to spend one of the brightest days this side of God's green earth...

Getting married to a Chinese woman has given you the privilege if tasting out lots of chinese delicacies. I would have loved to see what the foood actually looks like. Maybe next time you take a snap shot so we can see the foood for ourselves. Lol
Without a doubt, buddy. I almost "have" to love Chinese food, lol. But luckily I did before I met her. And unfortunately, I didn;t know it was going to be that good so ate all the food before getting any snaps first, lol. But this being a steepshot, giving the place some kind of exposure, was the least I could do... :)

I agree with you, you don't judge the book by just the cover, what matters is the content embedded. I will like to see some of the food they prepare if you don't mind sharing with us.
Sadly, most of the food was gone by the time I wanted to take some snaps of the food. Thus, this is the place from the outside but if want to know more, google their restaurant and you'll get all the info you need... :)

Maybe the chef that prepares the restaurant Chinese foods is well experience and also a good cook. Am glad you enjoy your meal and also having good time to chill and relax with your friends

Oh that’s nice , healthy food contributes to the growth of the body and spirit but I must tell you, you need to taste some African dishes then you might have a different view of Sichuan food.
Well good food is everywhere, in every culture . One just have to find them

I'm sure you won't be disappointed. It was around £100 for the six of us and we were real full by the end. Not too bad, by London standards, at least. :)
