Vlog #119: The Pending power Down statistics are the lowest I ever seen.
I like to keep an eye an all the stats regarding STEEM.
This morning I noticed that the Pending power Downs have gone down 80% compared to last week.
I'm really hoping these stats are correct.
Because for me, the lower this stat means the fewer people that want to part with their STEEM tokens and that's good for everyone that has tokens.

Let me know if I'm wrong, but powering down for a lot of people only has use when the Steem price is high instead of low? Why should someone power down when the price is low?
In the downtrend last year a lot of people powered down and sold. Fear of losing the investment/earnings was the reason.

When I first heard the word "Steemit" back in December 2016 (when I joined) - it sounded strange to me. It doesnt sound strange anymore- It is starting to feel like it has always been around. I am only poor struggling artist but I bought some steem when it was 12 cents when the price was crashing.
I "believed it had a future and so I held my nerve.
Steemit can only get better and better.
And what a good decision that turned out to be! And thank you, man.
It's great to see these figures which show less people powering down. Now we don't know if it is the drop in value which is causing this. But anyway I just hope it helps Steem getting a higher value in the days to come.
Yes man right time, right action give us very goods that's why yesterday I was bought some steem on bitterx! Yupp now enjoying the rides of steem.
fantastic post my friend, wow you are looking so fresh, it means you have a fantastic sleep at night that's great, it's also nice to see that so less amount of steem actually powering down this week and it's great because it means that the more peoples are willing to hold it and it's great for both steem holders and steemit community, well you are also making a nice decision to pick up some more steem when it's below 1$, i think we can't get more cheaper than that, i also have a vision to get at least 1K of steem token soon, have a fantastic weekend ahead my friend and thanks for sharing.
I think with STEEM at around $1 right now is a reason people aren't powering down. Maybe it's just a psychological thing, IDK. My SP is pretty low, so I'm going to let it build up over time. I might still trade SBD though (both for STEEM and other altcoins).
