Sunday workout session. Gained 5 KG. But this time I'm convinced its muscles.
I just got home from my Sunday workout session.
It went very well.
I did a lot of cardio and had some power left so decided to throw in a core routine.
A hard workout was needed because I indulged this weekend with a load of nice food and drinks.
I like Russian twist, planking, bicycle crunches.
After the workout, I thought I'd check my weight on the scale. It read 119.55 KG.
About 5 KG more than last time. Mmm.....
My first reaction: 'It could not have been this weekend could it!'
Of course not.
I'm getting slimmer, pictures proof it and I'm getting stronger every week.
Also, my stamina is increasing.
I'm beginning to become fond of a new exercise. Uphill 18% walking. It burns a ton of calories and I'm good at.
I think when it comes to cardio I'm more build for the heavy grinding exercises and not the ones that require a good technic. (like running, I'm stomping around like an elephant).
You can definitely see you've added muscle mass in your shoulders and chest area man. Who cares what the scale says, feeling better is all that matters. You're eating a cleaner diet and working out like an animal brother and you look in and feel healthier, that's the measure of success!
Great job man and you and Bianca have a great Sunday also!!
Thanks, man!
You have a stronger physique and the fat/muscle ratio changed for sure. What's your height? Based on the pics, I guess you are quite tall, hence your overall weight could be big even when ripped. I think if you would focus on dropping some weight while retaining(or even gaining a little) muscle could make insane changes in months. Aiming for like 85-95 kgs. To compare that to some people. Henry Cavill is around that weight and ~185 cm and he is really big as you can see in the Superman movies.
Check this video from Jeff about losing fat + building muscle. He says, with the optimal protein intake, you can continue to build muscle while losing fat. Great video and it's optimal for you at the moment. Probably the best trainer out there + he even trained Stallone(proof:https://www.instagram.com/p/BSFQ7AKj98U/). He knows what's up:
Plus choose some fat burning routine(+ of course, bench press, deadlift, squats, etc. to maintain the muscle weight):
Developing the habit and building muscle is the really difficult part, and you did a good job. Now you just have to be patient and lose some weight while maintaining the muscle you've gained.
Just my two cents though. Keep up the good work!
Interesting video. Watched it all. Thanks for sharing that!
My boy Jeff Cavaliere is the best trainer out there! I've been following his tips since the last few months and I feel great!
Thanks for focusing on your routine.
It is a stepping stone to where you want to be.
Be ready and keep on steemit.
Заебись...
Admire your progress m8! See what a mind is capable of!
Hi friends, you are looking awesome. Great job, is it very cold there, Bianca is on the hot wearing? Hi Bianca, how are you my sweet princess. You are the sweetest couple in the steemit community, Love you both friends, god bless you both friends, have an wonderful time together.
@exyle it has to be more muscle being added. With the work you have been putting in and the Pictures show that it has to be muscle. Just keep it up One day at a Time and Consistency............Now if we could just get STEEM to put on a lot of MUSCLE to the UPside !!!
That's always the case, at first we can not resist the temptation, we'll have all the calories, and then we'll run to exhaustion, that would throw off the excess. You're a fine fellow.
Do not worry @exyle, you actually become slimmer and all excess weight gains a smooth form. I also do not think that this can happen in one day off. More drive :)
nice post @exyle, well it's nice to see that you and bianca both going to gym that's great and no doubt your body looks alot better than your previous pictures and you say that you gain 5kg more weight then before well i think this is because you also gains some muscles especially on your shoulders and your shoulders looks a lot broader then before and i think that's why a weight little increased, well as long as you feels good and your stamina also increasing i think 5 kg won't matter much. enjoy your time and stick with your plans i hope you will get more good results soon. thanks for sharing
