Steemfat: Progress pictures after 3 weeks.

On the 31st of July 2017, I started Steemfat. The journey to get in shape for Steemfest 2.

Today it's the end of my third week.

Steemfest 2 starts on November 1st. I have 9 weeks left.

It's been an interesting journey so far. After a fantastic start that lasted 8 days I went to London to visit my friend @ezzy.

I had already decided that Steemfat and holiday don't mix, so while there I eat and drank everything I wanted.

Getting back on the wagon after coming home proved a little harder than I thought.

It's tough having breakfast with 2 boiled eggs when the memory of a full English breakfast is still so fresh :)

I have been going to the gym a lot. You can find me there 5 days in the week. Every session (except on a cardio day) I start with 20 minutes of cardio (biking/crosstrainer) before doing other exercises. I train different muscles every time.

I haven't lost any weight according to the scale (114 KG) but I don't really mind. I feel better and I'm pretty sure I look better.

I have been noticing some other interesting results from all the workouts.

  1. My back is much straighter while walking.
  2. I sleep much better

Bianca is on her own journey so we have been eating very healthy together although we both fall off the wagon sometimes.

We had ice cream last week and a soda when we were walking Sam in Rotterdam for example. I also had some beers and wine in between.

But overall it's going very well. I'm happy with it.

I recommend that in the first semester you can take the routine seriously, food helps a lot in the results and after conquering a good part of what you want, it does not have much problem doing twice in the month the "garbage day".

It is absolutely insane seeing the huge progress in just such a short amount of time. This really motivates me to get more active and that if I stay dedicated I can see changes in such a short span amount of time.

It is great to see you have fully went back into the routine despite all the drinks and that full English Breakfast you had. Keep pulling through strong @exyle!

I can see the dorito forming on your back. Hench shoulders and a slim waist haha. I can't wait to see it in full effect in a couple of weeks and it is great to see you are already walking straighter.

It seems like from all those protein shakes, meats and eggs you have gained some muscle since it is clear that you are definitely not the same as you were 3 weeks ago.

You're doing a fantastic job man and you can really see the difference. It's always funny how you can see the difference in the mirror before it shows up on the scale. I have no doubts you'll achieve your goals for Steemfat. If there's one thing I've learned about you, you're just no damn good at quitting.

It's really nice you and Bianca are doing this together. Having someone to work toward a goal with helps so much and provides that extra motivation in times of weakness. I don't know if you'd want to do it or not, or if your gym has the equipment, but 6-8 rounds on the heavy bad at a brisk pace is a helluva workout and will help shed pounds while also giving you a good anaerobic workout.

Don't worry about the scale not showing results. That flab is turning into muscle and that is a good thing. Everybody falls off the diet wagon now and then. The key is to get back on as soon as you can. When on holidays it is good to indulge a little. Otherwise, you feel too deprived and the diet goes out the window. Congratulations for sticking with it.

I second everything you just said here. Great advice! Since I started my fitness journey, the number on the scale hasn't really changed but I sure have and I'm so much happier for it.

You are doing well with the workout.. If you want loose weight, just drink hot water with few lemon drops in it, before going to bed.

Good work, this is motivating. I am on day 455 of my "life style change" and can always use a boost. I have dropped more than 100 lbs and one day I will get around to posting my progress on steemit

I wouldn't worry too much about not losing weight immediately. Most people will gain muscle weight first before losing weight. I am pretty sure that is what is happening in your case. From looking at your pictures, you seem to be losing fat but gaining muscle mass and tone.

I have been playing sports all summer and iy has helped in get back in shape at age 40.

yeah i see these pictures and its good progress and improvment to fit urslef @exlyle sir and hope u try it better again bcz u leave gym and diet in ur last some days tour to london, only u need some time not a long time and u get back ur good fitness without ur belly and i leave a msg for bianca to motivate u on it regularly and make u perfect wish u more happy life u with bianca
