Explore Boston - A New Blog Series
Hello Steemians!
This is a post to announce that I will be starting a new series here on Steemit! Basically a running blog, this series will consist of a bunch of different places visited here in Boston.
My friends and I often go on adventures here, and I realized what a great opportunity it would be to share some of these adventures with you - the community! I have no experience making blog posts, so I hope that you all enjoy watching the posts transform and gradually become better and more detail orientated.
So, this new series will consist of pictures and descriptions, and hopefully anyone who is here in Boston can comment on these great places, or for anyone looking to visit Boston, this series can provide you with a variety of places to really carve out your experience. Boston is an incredible city with an incredible amount of sites to see and things to do, so hopefully anyone looking for an itinerary can pull from the incredible places listed in this blog.
And, since I'll be here for the remaining few years of my college experience, there will certainly be a treasure trove of information and pictures. And all of this is coming only to you guys here on Steemit.
So, without further ado, I'll begin my first entry with some background information:
Here is a lovely picture out of my apartment's living room window this morning. I live in a six person duplex, so as you can imagine it can get pretty hectic during any meal time (not to mention how cluttered it is when my roommates don't do their dishes), but it's certainly nice to have a bunch of my best friends living with me.
We don't have much decorative flare (we're working on it!), but we decided to cover our apartment in tapestries. I'm an avid fan of the Grateful Dead and so is another one of my roommates, so we bought this tapestry at Hemp Fest during the fall. At first glance the tapestry is in a really odd decorative location, but honestly after living with it for so long it grew on me. By the way, the post-it notes were not my idea, I was outvoted! They wanted to put up quotes from the stupid things we've ever said around the apartment, so that's what those are.
Most of the other pictures I have of the apartment contain pictures of my roommates or illegal substances, so I'm going to avoid posting those here! But, hopefully this post provides just an overall background of the dynamic of my living situation and a sneak-peak into what's to come down the line. I hope you enjoyed, and I look forward to posting the next edition of Explore Boston!
P.S. It's going to be wicked cool.
