The people that make up today's society have a serious problem with so much demand for our work or activity, this problem is the fact of procrastinating. The human being always seeks the easy way by nature and therefore when we require an activity that can be from getting up from our bed to making a simple coffee or studying becomes an odyssey.

We usually say phrases like: "I'll do it later", "tomorrow I'll do it", "I'll do it before I sleep". We do not realize that we are hurting ourselves, it is only postponing the activity where you are going to require the same energy as when doing it at that moment, only you will be more stressed because tomorrow you have to be ready for that work or project and you finish it a lot effort and sacrificing many hours of sleep in something that you could do in installments or take your time at once to do it quietly at the time.

I must admit that I have also done it many times but it is not ideal, we must leave laziness and leisure aside, we are used to not living in the present, yesterday does not exist and tomorrow does not either. The moment in which you want to perform that task or that activity does not exist (yet) and maybe you propose to do it at a specific date and time but that does not work because that day and that time comes and we are busy with something else or We are simply unemployed but for laziness we postpone it again. This eliminates productivity and quality in everything you do for other factors that no one can control as time is.

TAKE THE INITIATIVE NOW!

Do not waste time, nobody achieves their goals sitting on a couch most of the day or lying in bed. Nobody can afford to waste time, is the most valuable thing in this life, do not waste it. I came out of this cycle because I was tired of not producing enough for lack of time and I found the problem ...

If I had time, what happens is that I wasted it in great numbers doing nonsense or being comfortable somewhere or just leisure, nothing that will help me in some end or something that I would consider doing. When I realized the failure, that it did not yield enough, I began to change my life. Today I will give you a few tips that I think will be very useful, these are the following:

1.- Manage your time

The best way to do it is to plan your day to day, plan what you are going to do leaving work or before arriving home, that will be very useful to save your valuable time. If it is not easy for you to memorize what you will do, use an agenda on your Smartphone, write down what you will do and keep it as a reminder and when the time comes for the activity, proceed to do it.

2.- Impose new rules

This was the key of everything for me, if the task was very complicated I used to leave it for later but if this was very simple I proceeded to do it immediately, do this with tasks that do not take you more than 10 minutes to start, until you already You are accustomed to this rule and do not think twice to do simple activities.

3.- Step by step

This consists of acquiring a new point of view for our complicated task to something simpler. Separate your task or activity in small activities, for example: I'm lying down and I have to prepare to eat and clean, what I would do first is to think about getting out of bed, it seems silly but taking the first step is always the most difficult, When you're up, everything is easier.

4.- Do not drown because of your tasks

When we have many tasks to do we must clear that list but if we do not we will simply be choked on tasks, that is a lot of stress and of course, it is bad for our health. Never stop doing your important tasks, do not accumulate or if you have a big problem.

I believe that with the advice shown in this post they will be able to change their lives for the better, leaving laziness is key to productivity, I am an engineering student and this was my basis for overcoming laziness and I hope that it has served you of help as it was for me, keep in mind that habits are not changed from one day to another, this takes time and dedication but they are constant and they will achieve it for sure.
