About the danger of ice congestion

I think that many readers of my blog wonder what problems may be due to ice on our Sukhona River.

Let me remind you of the events of December 2015, when, after the freezing of the river, the ice started off again due to a sharp warming.

Ice congestion was formed. It was necessary for rescuers to lay explosives and to bomb a mash.

But nothing has changed, then it has fast frozen and heaps of huge ice floes lay all winter on the river....and in the spring the floor of the city was flooded under water.
