Did Someone Say "Delay?"

So, I wake up and see the news reports about Trump wanting to delay the November election. Having heard rumors about it months ago is one thing, but seeing it for real now is shocking. The good thing about having a constitution like we do is that it would almost be impossible for something like that to happen.

Short of a dictatorship being declared...

Fortunately, both major political parties quickly quashed even the suggestion that they would ever go along with such a thing. My friends in England must be chuckling to themselves after seeing all this. Just a couple of months ago, I responded to their complaints about Boris Johnson, with the offer to swap leaders. Offering our "orange" President for their "yellow" one.

Not surprisingly, they demurred. This may be a great idea the next time you hear someone from another country complaining about their leaders. Despite everything, I look forward to the election in November. Thank goodness for term limits. Keep your head up America. It can't get any worse, can it?
