Hi Old Dog! What a fun post! When I first went to Europe in 2003, I was shocked at how many pay toilets there were. As you say, in the states it is not the thing so it was quite the contrast. My kids also loved all the different styles of toilets -- it's always interesting to see how people manage their necessities!!
