Funny cultural differences - Dating a Panamanian

Every country has their own cultural specificities, and sometimes the differences in between 2 cultures can make for some funny stories.

Here are my examples of funny little cultural differences I've encountered being a European expat living in Panama (and being married to a Panamanian).

    Awesome video! :) I had no idea there are nations that point with their lips :DD But the football thing is common in many countries in Europe too, even my homeland the Czech Republic ;) The Poles take their football also very seriously, just like guys in southern Europe and Balkan :)

      Engaged to a Polish lady here.
      Differences that come up to my mind are the following:

      1. Phone: when we Belgians are done calling we are done. Polish people on the other hand from the moment they say "bye" it always continue as "oh btw, blablabla ..." and this can take a while sometimes :)
      2. Food: Salads are always a must for lunch and dinner. This typical Polish and I welcomed it with open arms, as we Belgians do not eat enough salads in general.
      3. Church Polish people are very traditional in terms of religion. You better do not have a lame excuse for not going to church on Christmas or Eastern... or every Sunday, while in Belgium people barely go to church these days.

          Omg this is hilarious! You'll be at home here in the Philippines as everyone from kids to grandparents regardless of sex does the lips pointing thing to signal for direction.

          Also the breakfast. You serve any Filipino fruit or a salad and they'll glare at you. Breakfast is carbs and protein heavy with garlicy fried rice, sausages or very salty dried fish.

          Swap Basketball for football and that is true for us too hahahha.

          It is so uncanny seeing the cultural difference in one country to be the same with another.

          I still can't get over the lip pointing hahahaha
