I-Travelled: Istanbul f.k.a Constantinople
In the old days, Istanbul was known as Constantinople. It is the country's economic, cultural and historic center. Istanbul is a transcontinental city in Eurasia, straddling the Bosporus strait (which separates Europe and Asia) between the Sea of Marmara and the Black Sea. The city's strategic position on the historic Silk Road, rail networks to Europe and the Middle East, and the only sea route between the Black Sea and the Mediterranean have produced a cosmopolitan populace. While Ankara was chosen instead as the new Turkish capital after the Turkish War of Independence, and the city's name was changed to Istanbul.
It was unfortunate because I was having a severe stomach ache while I was travelling around Istanbul. I was having a Diarrhea and it was uncomfortable to move around and my mood also not good.
I feel that I just want to lie down and sleep for the whole day. However, I managed to visit some places of interest around the old town area such as Hagia Sofia and Bosporus cruise adventure.
This is the view from the breakfast table, view of another historical building.

All in all, Istanbul is one of the most beautiful city in the world but my stomach didn't want to cooperate with me. I was trying so hard on enduring my stomach pain and I don't have much memories in Istanbul. There are so many things I want to try but my stomach was acting like pain in the ass.
Till we meet again, Istanbul!!!
