Didn't hear about Dr. Mercola, will google it, thanks for the tip. As for not eating cookies inside the eating window, well, I'm not restraining myself in any way. That's the idea, to boos the metabolism in a short time span, get over with it and then stay fasted, without spending any energy digesting for as long as you can.

Eating window is one of nine cornerstones of his approach to health. A great book!

on another note, to give you a bit of my context: I was on 16/8 for only a brief period of time. then I was for a long time following 18/6 - which is probably the most flexible for me. However, for about a year or so I progressed into more advanced, like 20-21 with 3-4 feeding windows, which is a very pleasurable challenge. ;)
