Al escucharla entendí toda su carga emocional pero le anime a no albergar tales sentimientos porque lejos de ayudarle a encontrar paz verdadera le llena de odio, rencor y desesperanza. Le recordé el consejo bíblico: “No paguéis a nadie mal por mal; procurad lo bueno delante de todos los hombres. Si es posible, en cuanto dependa de vosotros, estad en paz con todos los hombres. No os venguéis vosotros mismos, amados míos, sino dejad lugar a la ira de Dios; porque escrito está: Mía es la venganza, yo pagaré, dice el Señor.” (Romanos 12:17-19). Dios es quien, en su momento justo, se vengará ante los responsables de toda la crisis que vive Venezuela. Él dará el pago. Le animé a procurar no trasladar todo ese sentimiento a ninguna persona que está de acuerdo con este sistema. Debemos descansar en Dios, sintamos empatía por nuestro prójimo, orientemos y promovamos la paz divina donde estemos. Dios se encargará del resto.
