Hay personas en el mundo que no tienen tema de conversación si no la vida de otros, no solo hablan lo que aparentemente ven o saben, sino que también se dan la tarea de inventar lo que les da su ingeniosa mente de crear toda una trama. Tales personas son de cuidado. Pero sabes cuáles son algunas marcas o señales de una persona chismosa: llegan a ti con expresiones como “a que no sabes de qué me enteré!?”, “sabías que…?”, “uf me acabo de enterar de algo…” y cosas parecidas. Al escucharlas puedes entrar en la tentación de caer en su juego, en enterarte qué pasó. El detalle es que a tus espaldas no sabes si esa persona habla mal de ti y te inventa cuento, añadiendo o restando información que tú mismo le diste. Por eso el Proverbios bíblico advierte: “El que anda en chismes descubre el secreto; Mas el de espíritu fiel lo guarda todo” (11:13).
