Memories of SteemFests’ Past
This shot was taken while wandering the backstreets of Sintra, Portugal after touring Pena Palace. This was one of our “free days” during SteemFest 2 where you were encouraged to roam about and take side trips away from Lisbon.
We had just filled our stomachs with fresh caught mussels and vina verde...all for not much more than the cost of a fast food lunch in America.
We only spent a day here in Sintra but this is one place I’d like to return to, stay longer, and really get to know the soul of.
There’s much more to SteemFest than talks and hackathons (although these are great), you really have the chance to experience the local culture and make memories that will last a lifetime.

Every people have memories, some of sweet and some of very bad. People want to forget this bad memories but the sweet memories can't forget. All time they remember those beautiful moment and wish they could go there again like you the Sintra where you enjoyed lots and had some yummy testy food. I've also beautiful moment in my childhood and sometimes wish i could go there again. Thanks to share your sweet memory sir and also let remembered my memory too.
The scenery is so beautiful, truly there is more to hackaton especially when meeting a new land and culture. Still expecting more from your blog from those of us who couldn't attend.

This is one of the things i love about pictures. They take us back in time, we re-live the memories we have created and they show us moments we might never recreate again. I love the memories each picture brings. I am sure this brings lot of memories for you sir. Well done sir.

It kind of reminds me that little alleys of the Greek Aegean islands.
Missed the first two Steemfests but I am thinking of joining the upcoming one.
And that’s the most beautiful part if you ask me..
Sintra looks like the streets of Jerusalem judging by that sidewalk I just saw now, hahshaha I think the good meal you had coupled with the amazing view is one of the things you'd certainly reminiscence, however you never can tell what steemfest 3 will bring, I still thinking more memoiries will be made
Judging on the angle and the width of the streets it looks like a back alley however it looks so vibrant with people, the shops and color.
There were lots of little shops and restaurants everywhere. I think this was the original marketplace of the town, before people used carriages or cars.
Those are the good things and I like the photographs, that just look at them you can remember that moment and live it again, they are emosiones that keeps us alive
