If you could go back in time and kill Hitler as a baby, would you?

I don't think we can ever make such a machine which will make time travel possible. If it will become possible for us to go back in time and amend the mistakes which someone had committed which had negative or bad impacts on millions of lives, we would certainly try to do it but every action has an equal and opposite reaction. One change in the past would creates a series of events that would create many other sub-chains and sub-events. Ultimately, it will increase the entropy of this world to such a level that it will become a unmanageable disaster.

One such fine example can be seen in the movie "the butterfly effect". In this movie hero tries to change the past events but his efforts creates more complexities for the people whose life he wants to change. Ultimately, he realizes that he was the person responsible for everything his beloved people were suffering from. Then he kills himself in his mother's womb, much before he could take birth.

So, killing baby Hitler may also have several negative impacts on the overall well beings of human life. One event may lead to more negative effects. That's why it won't be a solution to kill him in infancy.
