Crypto is the talk of the town. Times are changing.
You can’t turn left or right without running into talks about cryptocurrency.
Today, we had a party in celebration of one of my friend’s dad having turned 65.
It didn’t take long before the idle chat after greetings tearned to crypto.
Now I love my friends dearly, and there is absolutely nothing I wouldn’t do for them. But, the talks are usually either over my head (ie economics and finance and whatever else it is they do for a living), or not to my interest (ie cars & sports)
Difference
How different tonight was.
Because of Steemit, I’ve been growing interested in crypto, being eased in by Steemit.
So when the talk turned, I was all ears.

Finally I could have a conversation with them at the same level and I might even have tought them a thing or two. At the very least about steemit.
Several coins and exchanges and missed opportunities and news (The BCC debacle for instance) passed the revue.
I am really happy that we now have a better common ground. It helps that my life-long friend and brother of @exyle, @look4balance, is also a recent Steemian. He invested because of his ‘little’ brother and saw his investment quadruple in december and eventhough he had no inclination, wrote a couple of blogs which are great reads.
Times are changing. I’m feeling it in every bone of my body.

It’s always good to see you man. I learned a lot already from your first posts. And I’m sure more will follow that will make me better understand the world you traverse in.
Times are really changing brother, and just like you , steemit has taken my knowledge and increase in crypto to another level. Many more successful cryptoric years, if only there is such a word
but i think so a student could not invest and without investment on steemit very hard to get reasonable upvote.
So true, but I still have to get use to people with big eyes and their “ I dont believe in fake money “ comments at birthdays or get togehthers. But I am in and waiting for them to Change I HAVE ALREADY adept.
It is great, isn't it that @look4balance is also 'on board'. Who would have thought that this (you, and the other 3 blockbrothers and l4b in Steem) would happen when you were all still young children playing 'keep the ball high' in the street.
