RE: After some prep work it’s time to get to work
I had one that was supposed to take 3 months. They were doing rounds of interviews twice a month. Needless to say I didn’t waste my time with that nonsense. Some places expect the moon and then some. I did not want find out what the internal culture was like if that is what they expected from people to get in.
I had know someone at the time who lasted till the end. They then told him that job did not have any open positions at the time. They be happy to hire him as a sales agent where he could work up to what he had applied for when it became available. I've not spoken to that person in years.
I was reading a review that said something similar. I wonder if it's the same company. That one, sounds and looks like a scam. Glad you didn't waste your time.
I forget the name but it was a payroll processing company. They really just wanted sales agents with an accounting background but didn't want spend to much paying them.
That is issue I see with a lot of companies. I've heard it happening quite a few times in IT related fields. Someone accepts a lower paying job within a company thinking they got a way in down the road and then discover a week in everyone else working in that same depart all want that same job.
I hope your search is going well. I know it can really get a person down when they just can't find a place that allow a person to grow and feel appreciated for there efforts.
