I know someone who used to have epilepsy and really terrible fits. He was given a cannabis cigarette - or joint I suppose - at the age of fourteen by a friend who said it would stop his fits and, it did stop all fits. He is now in his fifties and has never had another fit. Not one! He does not actually like cannabis now, but he is deeply grateful that he no longer has fits.
