Shhhh. Don't Talk About the Lead in the Water

On top of Flint, almost 2,000 additional water systems spanning all 50 states where testing has shown excessive levels of lead contamination over the past four years. Meanwhile, at least 33 cities across 17 US states have used water testing “cheats” that potentially conceal dangerous levels of lead.
Earlier this month, Charlotte Mecklenburg School system in North Carolina came under fire for not notifying parents that excessive levels of lead had been found in 27 out of 58 schools tested for lead last fall.

So how are officials in these situations responding to the water crises? Well, that's an awkward question...
