"Life is like a ten-speed bicycle. Most of us have gears we never use."- Charles Schulz.
It is sad how we end up not fully utilizing the power of innovations we have within us, because we always first look to limiting ourselves by using what we think we have which should be just enough. For the regular biker or someone who doesn't ride at all, there will not be a need to use every available gear on the bicycle.
I Feel Blessed!
If you have a car, you will agree with me that, you have only ever used the Reverse, Park and Drive gears and have never really bothered to use the Drive 1 & 2. Do you know that the additional gears were put there for a reason and until you try it out, you will not and never know what power your automobile holds.
Activating potential in life is similar to the utilizing every available gear in a ten-speed bicycle or a car. If you don't push the lever, you will not get the adrenaline that comes locked up inside. Holding true to a particular path or speed during our sojourn in life, means we may never truly get the benefits of what awesomeness we are created with.
Go full blown, use every available gear you can find in you and you will be excited at what mighty works you are capable of. Stay close to nature and understand that, nothing great is given freely, we must exert ourselves if we must have results.
Try it, engage with your ten-speed gear and don't hold back. Go full throttle!
Make the world a better place for someone today!
Well, life is already locked up in time, so limited that we look for satisfaction without really laying hands on one because nothing will satisfy life when it foresees its end around 70s. Yet you have a consolation here:👇
We’re expected to give out our best in our limited life time in learning from nature, indeed nature teaches love, nature love investing in others more than oneself becomes love is the only satisfactory process that we have in life.
I am blessed with this piece dear @ejemai
Still @maxdevalue

I tried to use some of the gears in my life but the tires broke on me @ejemai
Now I am just running on my own pace and letting God directing me on his path.
Keep the faith brother and you will find more to live for. It can only get better.

You can not ever know how good, strong or the potential you really have until you put it to use, some how you might find out you have not being using or under using your potentials when challenging situation arises. Some few years back I got stocked in a slippery mud while I was driving. Somehow my Instinct moved me to change the gear cursor to D1...OMG...! I couldn't just believe it the car drove OUT so effortlessly as if it was on a plain driving surface. "Can this car do this?" I asked myself. I never new D1 was such a great potential in gear transmission system. So if don't use your potential, you might never know how good your potential is. Kudos @ejemai
You would have stayed stuck for long had you not taken the initiative and tried the "unimportant and docile" D1 gear. It is the same with life, we must be willing to try more harder and smarter.
Stay awesome!
Stamina is best measured while on geared speed. Where strength was not gathered, engaging speed will result in disaster.
Valid point. We must do the needed at the right time.
Thanks and stay awesome!
Thank you for this article, and totally agree with this...Sometimes we just need to try doing things we have never done before
