If you want to know the difference between a religious and a spiritual person, throw money and fame into the mix and you will realize it.

When these two things are thrown into the mix, friends become enemies, allies become spies and all else is lost in between. Life always offers us a choice, the choice to either become a total bad ass or the option of becoming a bad person.

People need to realize something about steemit, it is not about your reputation score (although a decent reputation score is always welcome),it is about the individual behind the score.

A person with a reputation score of 40 can make a difference, a person whose reputation score was sunk to 11 can still bounce back and make all the difference.

When you see someone ahead, do not look at the age, skin color or any other trivial thing, look at the fact that you too can achieve that with a decent plan and hard work.

Look at what I wrote above, I said decent, not sinister plan. A few people believe that in other to rise, they must bring others down, that to become relevant, they must make others irrelevant.

A man who pulls others down in other to rise, will ultimately be pulled down too by others in a bid to rise.

Life is a cycle, but here is the twist...we determine how that cycle should be.

You can choose to start a vicious "Dog eat Dog" cycle in which you spend half your day looking for invisible enemies everywhere, or you can start the honest cycle, where if you do right, your turn will come.

To some, the meaning of those words is lost, but let me break those words down.

This simply means that no matter what you do, good or bad, the outcome is almost certain,as long as you keep at it. You can be the reason why your brother falls, or the pillar on which his success is built.

If I had one sp for every time someone has had to try to push me into contributing in someone else's failure, I am sure I might be bragging of a whale status by now.

So many times I see people always talking bad about others all in a bid to perpetrate a scheme, bring the person down and replace the person. The worst part is such people usually require an accomplice.

There are usually three parties in such an event, there is the master planner, also know as the ring leader who wants to push his/her agenda, the accomplice/ally(ies) who either knowingly or unknowingly assist the ring leader, and the victim.

What people don't know is that when someone brings an allegation about someone else to you, the logical thing to do is to investigate if the claims are true or not.

Human beings are emotional and manipulators capitalize on the human emotions to hatch their plots. The point most accomplice(s)/ally(ies) forget is this: after contributing in the plot, either knowingly or unknowingly to take their fellow man down, they become the next targets as schemers generally don't like loose ends.

Never judge a book by it's cover, the person being falsely accused, might be the person to save your ass tomorrow.

Man cannot be totally evil or totally good, we must strive to overcome the evil within us.

The keyword there is strive. We all have a bit of the darkness within us, we should not succumb to it. The worst defeat a man can suffer is to surrender his heart as a willing tool for the devil to use as an instrument in bringing someone else down.

It could be your head being asked for on the chopping block by someone you have never offended, if you know you will feel bad,why the are you asking for the head of another man whose only offense is to try and become successful?

When you spread rumors about others, you won't sleep easy, you know why? because you start to feel everyone is spreading rumors about you even if it is not true.

The phenomenon is termed having a guilty conscience.

When your fellow man becomes successful, celebrate his success wholeheartedly, do not harbor resentment towards his/her success because you are staring at whom you want to be.

The truth is when we skip the denial stage and get to the final stage which is the stage of acceptance, we forego all sentiments and discover that the words I have spoken are true.

I remember a time when someone once told me something about a fellow steemian, the person was expecting me to react and join in on the plan, I simply laughed it off and even tried to get closer to the person. The funny thing is the same person who tried to get me to turn against the other person now went to the other person, to try and pit us against each other.

The truth is success, money, power etc is never enough for a greedy and scheming individual because they feel everything belongs to them.

However, they forget that even those who are successful at the top also have their pains, the wear the shoes and the know where it itches.
