Exceeding imaginative creativity on the platform...Transcending the ordinary on Steemit

in #life7 years ago (edited)

My post is coming late because I was in a meeting preparing some new Nigerians I will soon introduce to steemit very soon.

A positive attitude causes a chain of reaction of positve thoughts, events and outcomes. It is a catalyst and it sparks extraordinary results.

To survive in any environment, one has be to not only be determined, but have a clear notion of how the environment works. The greatest of men most times were never the best, they were simply people who knew the politics of events and strategized accordingly. Steemit is more than an environment where the best carries it all, it is an environment where those who can watch, deduce patterns, strategize and modify can survive.

Why do people remain the way they are?

It is very simple although the reasons may vary depending on individual. I have seen a lot of post on how to make it on steemit but none has particularly struck the chord in my perspective. Why? because those people feel the need to turn here into a get rich quick scheme and prefer not to follow the natural order of things.
I saw a particular individual, who after introducing himself, went ahead to write how to make money on steemit tips. Now that was not the title, but that was the message, so I asked myself, how can someone who is but a day old already be teaching others about something am sure he might not be too familiar with.

Why skip a step? Steemit is a learn, apply and evolve environment

Steemit is actually an environment where you learn----->Apply----->Evolve

Take your time because it takes time

Occasionally, some people might get in and seem to just get it all right, but hold on, like a house built on a shaky foundation, they often times crumble, especially if they lack the 1-2-3 of how the environment works.
Believe me when I say the top is where the brave will eventually get to, but it is a step by step process. I cannot remember if it was @kingscrown or @surpassinggoogle that told me once "we are all lucky to have joined at this early stage."
Reason being, things are actually easy for us at this stage. Do you think two years from now, it will be this easy? Why complain when you are still new? This is an avenue to impact in others and get enough to sustain yourself, it is not a charity organization where everyone can be spoonfed at the same time. I might sound harsh, but I realized that people actually worked to get to the top, why are you whyning instead of working?

Winners are never quitters and quitters are never winners

Where does this haste lead us

haste.jpg
I believe the right question should be why are we in a haste? Do you know there are many ways to catch a Rat without shedding blood? What works for A might not be your pattern.
Even if you have heavy ambitions, sometimes you have to cool down and restrategize or better still get a second opinion and learn how it's done.
If you do not cool down and learn, you might just find out that you are just competing with no one but yourself and yet you lost. That would be the sad part, you lost against yourself..
Everyone has ideas on steemit, everyone probably has an agenda, but the timing is what matters and that is where some miss their way, they use the wrong timing.

He who fails to plan, plans to fail

Simple minnow logic

It is simple but I wonder why some fail to see it. Let me explain.....
There are always new people registering on steemit daily right? Why not welcome them, as @tinashe is doing? Give them their first welcome and encourage them to follow you. In 30 days you will have over 1000 followers and you have done community service. Out of a thousand, you could get a hundred or more loyal followers.
Do you know in two months, if you encourage them to grow, your post payouts can never be the same? But yet some opt to sit and complain about not being voted for.
Another thing being overlooked is the fact that how many people actually vote others? I believe in karma, and it is funny when I see people flood their blogs with posts and claim all their full power votes for themselves both in their post and comments and refuse to vote others nor comment, but expect the miracle of future votes and comments.
Steemit that I have come to know is a give and take community and everyone is important, and I mean everyone. Help others so that you may yourself obtain help.

Givers never truly lack

If it was easy as 1,2,3, then everyone would be rich. Anything big takes time , failure , and lots of progress to reach. Things can happen over night for some lucky people but we must learn to work hard to succeed , life just doesn't hand us anything we want

Beautifully said

Hard work is the key. Preparation is hard work. So is execution. It takes time and most people don't have the patience required.

I am working on the patience thing myself

Very good, patience is essential

Really great to read a level headed article especially as I'm pretty new, it's reassuring reading your words, thanks

you are welcome

Great read. I agree. I am a talented person who has always had a knack for podcast in the past. I was doing podcast before they really became a thing like that...all the way back in 2010. Unfortunately, I gave up on the dream but the universe did not. Eventually it seemed as everyone and their mother was creating a successful podcast and reaping from the benefits. I believe in the law of attraction. I also believe that if you give up on your dreams the universe takes it and spreads it to the unknowing people. So the next thing you know, that same very idea that you once believed in begins to take off out of nowhere. Only thing is you were not patient enough for the journey.

You seem to get the point...
