EMBRACE SMART WORK

One good reason why our effort sometimes proved abortive can be traced to the fact that when we are supposed to shun hard work and embrace smart work, but reverse is the case. You can imagine working 40% smarter instead of 40% longer. Smart working requires a lot of self-discipline and time management. Joyce Meyer formulated an acrostic of SMART as S-Specific, M-Measurable, A-attainable, R-Realistic, T-time. A smart worker is a person who knows what needs to be done, has measurable and attainable goal that need to provide results in a timely manner.
For so many years have tried working so hard with expectation of a tangible result but when I started working extremely smart, it was like the gate of abundant blessing opened for me because I stop working tediously in the same manner and technique but change the manner and technique which the work is done in order to improve the productivity. We often aspire to finish a project faster, in a more efficient way but it seems unattainable because our goals are not specific, invalid measurement, not real and we seem not to understand time management.
The measure for success for people who work hard and people who work smart are different. People who work smart usually evaluate success based on the amount of discretionary time they have to do whatever it is they want to do. Smart workers don’t focus on the input but the valuable outputs in a more efficient way.
To be a smart worker as a business man you should know how to take care of your competence, develop the habit of reading in your area of business to be extremely resourceful. Invest massively into developing useful and practical knowledge and abilities, constantly train your creative mind by writing down your ideas and process in accomplishing them.
So to be a smart worker you should be understand your strength, weaknesses and be able to manage your time effectively and as an entrepreneurer you should understand work-life balance, with this you should expect a change in your productivity…thanks for reading.
