You All Should Be ASHAMED of Yourselves IF...... (Part 1)
A warm happy Sunday greeting to you all and still welcoming to the new year of 2019. I have been having this thought in my head for quite some time now and it's becoming a major issue in the body of Christ. So I taught I should share it but mind u, I won't be mincing words here as I would be saying everything as they. I don't really mind if you get hurt by the words because I believe that most of us will as we are most time guilty of it.
Are you Ashamed of What you are supposed to be Proud Of?
When I first joined this platform, I was familiar with a term being used "The Steem Good News or Gospel" because it was and still something that is beneficial to those using it. People made quite some fortune from the platform as well as they made new friends and families as well. People took the spread of the news of steemit platform very serious. Most printed shirts, caps, etc just to ensure that they wanted people to hear about the platform. They were very proud and excited doing it. They did with all their strength and so much passion. Most even created communities and whatsapp groups because they wanted to reach more people. All these are very commendable and worthy of emulation.
BUT,
I want to believe and not just assuming that most people here on this platform and those I know personally are CHRISTIANS. And the paragraph you just read before getting to this might be talking about you which I'm very sure. You all wanted people to hear about this platform. Those in the tertiary institutions have organized some meetings where they invited their friends and course mates over so they could tell them about steemit. Others might have done other similar things in their offices, business place etc. But my question is this;
HOW MANY TIMES HAVE YOU DONE SOMETHING LIKE THIS FOR JESUS CHRIST WHO YOU CALL YOUR LORD AND SAVIOR?
Who and who have you told about Jesus Christ?
Who have you preached the gospel to?
What are the things you have done to ensure the Gospel of Jesus Christ is heard in your environment?
Or you don't think it's worth it?
Are you ashamed of what you are supposed to be proud of?
Apostle Paul said
For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
