Roos are a pest, as are camels and cats in Australia.
Roos, like giraffes are amazingly graceful at speed, they look as if they are in slow motion yet they are flying!
Have you ever seen giraffes fighting?
wow, I always thought giraffes were so pretty and relatively docile loveable looking creatures! Didn't realize they could also be so vicious. Guess it's sort of like with people too, all's well when times are good, but when the tides turn and survival mode kicks in, watch out. Thanks for adding that!

Why would you say that roos are not a pest? I am interested to understand your viewpoint. In some respects I agree with you; I should have been fuller in my explanation.
Why? Because I have friends who work in wildlife care and rescue, specifically with the group, W.I.R.E.S. They have up to date scientific information about the state of Australian wildlife. These people have informed me what the true state is with regards to kangaroos.
Secondly, think about it, how can a native animal be a pest? A cane toad, feral fox, cat, dog, buffalo, pig, ect. certainly are.
