Here is the problem for traders right now. They are trying to invest in stocks that are recovering from the damage done in trade wars.

What this tells them is they know the stocks are inflated prices. It tells them buying into them right now before they depreciate even further down would create a loss in their portfolio.

Who wants to do that in the market? It is why you are seeing them invest in long term assets such as gold they know will stand the test of time.

The problem is that short term investing will create a rise in the dollar and even stocks, but there will be no one at the top to buy the stock into higher prices.

This will tip the scales of gold to rise and attach itself to everything in site.
