Do You Prefer A first Class Grade As A Student Or A First Class Result
I am a young boy who loves to play the guitar, I have been looking for admission although I do very well in my entrance exams but I am yet to gain admission into a tertiary institute in my country although I feel it is because I do not know people at the top who will help me source for the admission but my mom always tells me it is not my time yet.
Presently, going to school is my dream but above all, living a first-class life is my major priority. Every student in Nigeria wants to go to the university so they can come out in 4 - 8 years time and in most cases due to strike embarked upon by both staff and students, they might end up spending 6 - 10 years in school.
Life in school is beautiful, fun and full of hard work, but what happens after the hard work and stress in school, most students end up living a life of mediocrity. In Nigeria, there are millions of graduates coming out of the higher institution yearly but the government doesn't have a plan for them. How will they get employed by the government when a private firm such as Dangote groups employ more than the federal government.
I have seen graduates who do not have jobs, I have seen the ones who manage to start a petty trade. Why????
One thing I hope for at large is a first-class life. I want to live a life of ease and peace. I want my life after school to be rosy and great.
Well said @e-bass Firstly am a graduate of UNN in Enugu state, and ill like to let you know that if you study hard and pass your jamb and postume, you will surely get admission.I and 5 of my siblings all passed through UNN and yet we did not know anybody. I can only speak of UNN beacause I schooled there and am sure of it. You can put the school in your jamb, and read hard, and you will be sure of admission.
Also, I am glad you have such a mindset prior to entering school, if majority of our graduates have your mentality of planning for life after school, they would not be unemployed when they graduate. Am wishing you admission for your dream course by next year, all the best
Thanks a lot. I am glad you read through my blog. I hope to gain admission into the university next year
Amen to that.All the best
