Mixed news on the virus front

in #life4 years ago

Yesterday I came across a reference to an encouraging bit of news. One of my bigger fears was that once you contracted the virus it would recur repeatedly like a cold sore. The evidence for this was that there were cases that tested positive a month after they had been declared free of the virus. In South Korea, they ran a study of 200 post-recovery subjects who tested positive after a month. The determined that the tests were not picking up active infections but inert viral fragments. While this doesn't prove that it will not recur, at least it allays the fear that it could recur within one month.

Hydroxychloroquine continues to be a bone of contention. It works best in combination with Zinc and is a prophylactic... helps protect against getting the virus. Consider a one year supply of Hydroxycholoquine and Zinc would be less than $500 versus the current cost of having a single course of treatment using Remdesivir would be $30,720 (Supplier site - Treatment Regimen)
