Increasing Immunity to the Coronavirus

In this video, Dr. John Campbell discusses the importance of supplementation of Vitamin D in improving resistance to respiratory infections. A daily dose of Vitamin D (eg. 1000 IU per day) is better than periodic larger amounts. In people low in Vitamin D (people living in Northern countries this time of the year) can see as much as 80% better resistance. From other sources (and in my experience), 10,000 IU per day is a better level. While it is unproven whether this will have any improvement, I have found that I am inconsistent in my supplementation. I can go two to three days without remembering to be responsible. As Vitamin D is cumulative (it is a fat-soluble Vitamin), raising your levels well above the minimum, it is possible to glide for a couple of days when necessary.

It is important to remember that Vitamin D3 works in a combination with other elements. It is also important to maintain appropriate levels of Zinc, Vitamin K2, Iodine and Selenium.
