Wild asparagus: Trilogy conclusion
What else to say about these wild asparagus after two posts about them from last week?
The only thing that I really have to repeat is: Beware of the ticks!! Nasty little mother fuckers can get into your clothes, suck your blood, make a lot of problems because of deceases that they can bring on the human body.
So, if you want to check my two other posts about wild asparagus, click here and here.
For those who don't want to check the posts, I just want you to know that I explained all about these wild asparagus, where to find them, when and how, and what is the difference between them and other species of asparagus. I even showed you how to make the simplest meal of the wild asparagus and cooked eggs.
So, let's now remember what the bush of the wild asparagus looks like:
And the asparagus is under or around the bush:
Did you know that one kilogram of wild asparagus costs more than 40 $ on the market place?
So, if you were lucky and find some in nature and, in some case, you have some chicken breast, zucchini, rice and a sour cream, you can make very nice and healthy meal for less than 30 minutes!
First, you have to peel and grate the zucchini. Then cut the chicken breast into little cubes. Clean asparagus the way I showed you in my previous post about them. Put these three ingredients together and add some salt.
Place the pot on the fire and put some butter in it. When the butter melted down, add the mix of chicken cubes, zucchini and asparagus. And let it fry on the butter until the chicken cubes become white.
This zucchini will release a lot of water so you need to fry this until it evaporates. Then, add some water (the amount depends on the rice) and the rice (and some extra salt for the rice).
After 15 or 20 minutes (depends on rice), when the rice became soft and eatable, add some sour cream and cook for few more minutes! It would be nice to add some parsley also in this moment!

It looks like you have been successful at finding more asparagus -- great! Sorry to hear about all those ticks, though! How long does your asparagus picking season last where you are at?
Thank you very much, the season of asparagus last for two months, usually March and April
Good -- that means you can have a lot more asparagus! Enjoy! :D
