We still do the Advent calendar and we just loved it when it was our turn to open it. We had nine kids so the struggle was real! LOL
You are the very first person I heard say that you weren't allowed unless you were given permission to go into the parent's bedroom. It was like a golden rule. Nobody dared!

Thank you so much!!! I think when we were really small, we had to share one calendar too. Then later, we each got one... Keep the peace I guess, when it comes to the chocolate ones. lol
