RE: Impermanence

Oh, that does make me sad, but, I realize we all have an expiration date. Lovely beads they are! Tell me the backstory of them! I am curious!

There really is not much of a backstory except I saw these online, adored their white color, appreciated the reminder of impermanence, so I ordered them ($5 + shipping). They came all the way from Kopan Monastery in Kathmandu, Nepal where they were strung, by hand, by monks there. I also appreciated the fact that they were hand-made and contributed to the welfare of the religious community at the monastery. 🙂

Oh, I love prayer beads and rosaries. I always carry a set with me, so I have great appreciation for them. That is why I wanted the backstory or how they came to you.

The fact that they came all the way from Nepal, and strung by hand by monks there and contributing to the welfare of the religious community? Huge Bonus.

Thank you for taking a few moments to relay the story to me. I really appreciate it!

Have a great night!
