Too many projects, never enough time!
School holidays. I've taken a week off to hang-out with my daughter, Ms 9.
But there's a problem. All I want to do is go back to sleep...
And we have a couple of ongoing projects to finish:
- A song: written and recorded - This one has its verses (both lyrics and music) but still needs a chorus and middle-eight
- A game: we've been working on this one since the beginning of the Christmas holidays in 2016 (so for 16 months or so) - with this one we are close to being able to play-test it. The rules are written to a draft level, the boards are finished, we just need to finish off the pieces
- Various book ideas - these are all in very draft stages
In addition to this we have set our sights on playing an adventure in the DragonQuest world (I have written about this previously for those who wish to track back through my timeline). This requires significant creative effort on my part in writing the adventure. PLUS my ongoing commitment to myself to write a Steemit post every day.
Ms 9 and I have a strong history of creating creative creations: we have written and recorded a few songs already, and written and self-published two books (all as presents for Ms 9's Mum).
To be able to achieve this takes discipline and commitment, as well as a sense of fun. But, and in this condensed timeframe this is important: time.
Going to the beach, watching movies, and just generally hanging out on holidays all takes time to do right. And the most important thing about holidays is (as I have also written before) to relax.
So we'll see where we get, but I think we will be putting the incomplete projects aside until next time.

I am really glad that you are spending time together. Children really need to be close to their family to feel happy and secured. I didnt had that feeling as a child, because I had to live far from my parents, but can see the difference now.
