Anything at all can, and does, happen - Be Open to Let Hope in

in #life5 years ago (edited)

One full year of data! Welcome to the 52nd weekly installment of my series on Steem income and growth!

Income on the Steem blockchain is generated by "investment" (the more currency you have, the more you earn) and by "work" (earning currency by contributing content that adds value). All my crypto holdings are in the Steem currency. Now I'm working to earn more, by uploading unique valuable content to the blockchain.

Calculating weekly income

Considering income from accounts that I own, that my wife owns, and group projects using our funds (currently @drutter, @medikatie, @greatesteem, @hempy, @girlsofgreen, @vantocan, & @sativazeee), here's the running tally:

Average weekly growth (last 10 weeks): +21.7 Steem (+1.58%)

At +24 Steem, it was a week I could only dream about a year ago, but nowadays measures up as fairly average. That in itself is evidence pointing toward success.

The 10 week moving average remained steady near 1.6%, which is extremely promising.

What's more interesting is that these great data come on the back of a fairly normal week. My team and I posted, we commented, we curated. Some larger meta force is at play here - it's not simply that we're trying harder, faster, better, stronger. I'm sure we would gladly accept that credit if it were truly due, but it doesn't seem to be.

Nevertheless, we are doing well, and beginning to see some of our goals becoming obtainable (should things continue like this). The expression "don't count chicks before they hatch", aka "I'll believe it when I see it" comes to mind. But only to be briefly considered and shelved.

Now over 1500 Steem and growing at over 1.5% weekly, we are due to surpass 2200 Steem within 6 months, and 3300 in a year. At current rate, we'll hit 'dolphin' in about 80 weeks.

Note: I don't count the funds I'm holding for Mission: Agua-Possible" in my tally.

For the past few years, I've been increasingly experimenting with my skill at manifesting the changes I want to see in my life. While still delving into this deep pool, I feel I'm beginning to see several signs of success, and the above is one of them.

Another was my ability to go from homeless and sick, to financially stabilized and regaining health. My wife @MediKatie and I were sleeping on couches and under shrubs just a year and a half ago. We didn't lose hope or give up, but the temptation was there.

When the right amount of confidence, competence, optimism, skepticism, realism, passion, wisdom, love, gratitude, and several other factors converge in just the right way, at the right time, absolutely anything is possible. And many of those factors are determined solely by oneself. We have much more power over our futures than most of us realize.

Being open to miracles (big and small) is one way to see them happen in your life. One thing I've noticed about people who live their dreams and succeed at amazing things, is they believed it was possible. Some believed it more than others (sometimes to the point of being almost delusional about it), but they ALL believed. Very few people who succeed at their goals begin with the assumption it isn't possible.

Please, don't give up on yourself.

Positivity really does have a place in our lives. I had been missing out on its benefits for far too long.

May you succeed!

Glad things are going better for you and MediKatie!

Thank you fishy!! Not every day is better, of course. And not even every week, but most weeks are. Every month is better than the last, without fail. Slow and steady progress is lifting us out of a rough place! :)

Great news!
Resteemed to my Steem-centric followers (who are all really positive and sexy, by the way).
