I believe that even if your statistics were accurate, the majority of that money could be traced directly to Rome. And make no mistake, the Roman Catholic Church is one of, if not the wealthiest corporations in all the world. And you just have to look up the Crystal Cathedral on wiki to get an idea of how materialistic they are.
A friend of mine just spoke about world hunger- never mind the church, we all need to take responsibility for this epidemic, there are things WE can do to effect a change;.
That's a good post. I left a comment on it there. I agree we all should take responsibility for ending world hunger. Unfortunately, it's not realistic. Not all of us will. Luckily we don't need all of us to. We can end world hunger with a small # of people.
The reason why I singled the church out is because it's a part of what the church is supposed to do, as is written in the bible. So they've designated themselves for that purpose, and therefore should directly be held accountable.
