Kids are fun. And so are birthdays.

A kid's birthday, surely that is at least twice the fun!

I've been blessed with a wonderful, sweet child and he just recently celebrated his 7th birthday. It's a special day for me too, as his birth in the world is my birth as a mom.

And we are both lucky to have a loving and thoughtful family.

The ate's and kuya, and the aunts and uncles set to elicit as many smiles on Rafa's special day.

Ate Jen, Ate Rica and Kuya Aurel served as the creative committee.

After Rafa was put to bed, we dressed up the house with the goal of starting his day with a big, whopping smile.

Balloons always does trick!

You see he's been doing a countdown on his birthday. He was so happy to see the decor when he woke up!

He even had an "evil island conqueror" birthday photo series!

Birthdays are fun. And it is always a blessing to be surrounded by people genuinely happy you are a part of their lives just couldn't imagine a world without you in it.

Raphaels's birthday and I might just be the happiest, as he means the world to me.
