Great post! There is an underlying anarchist vibe in Detroit. One can visit the city with little threat of police involvement if your visit is peaceful. THIS IS NOT A BAD THING. Like anywhere else, be smart and know your surroundings. It is an awesome city that would be perfect for an urban response to the movement in New Hampshire; that is if the benefits of liberty were introduced and embraced. The time is right - the city is on move but visitors can still enjoy relative freedom with no authoritarian threat. Come visit and you'll be amazed at what you see...
