RE: Will we live in a Simulator World? Winter Olympics Opening Ceremony Drones
It is interesting that you did this post today since I just finished watching Black Mirror and Altered Carbon on Netflix both are about the future world of technology and how it is just matter of fact and oh so disturbing. But on the serious note it does seem like we are like Blind Man walking allowing technology to slowly seep into your existance like pebbles that will I think eventually turn into a big stone if we do not recognize and control the difference between advancement and existance.
Now you have to remember I grow up going to Drive In movies and when they used subliminal messages in the popcorn commercials I thought that was so nasty. Times the are a changin. All about awareness and balance.
I just finished Altered Carbon, was very well done seemed like netflix gave them a nice budget too. The biggest take away from it though was that those with money and power will always be in control.
I don't know if you ever read the old book Animal Farm. It is a simplified version of all these new political futuristic films. I think it is those with money and power are most likely be the ones that destroy....which also comes along with control.
I read animal farm years ago.
I agree the ones with all the power have the ability to shape the world in their vision. Which could be worse from others perspective. But they are also the ones with the power to preserve and save it. I think there are more good people in the world than there are bad. So I'm not too concerned with what the future holds.
I agree with you totally. Well said.
I will have to watch those. It does seem we are casually walking towards this type of life... Scary in a way!
