Great post. The use of technology in education has brought many advantages for both the student and the teacher, but also brought certain disadvantages to find students with bad spelling because they got used to the spell checkers of the wed, or little capacity for mathematical reasoning as it became dependent on a calculator. I believe that there must be limits to the use of technology in the classroom, or in any case the teacher should let the student to rely on technology but to employ certain strategies that allow the student to reason, think and increase their ability of analysis. It is not copy and paste internet articles. Greetings and blessings.
I completely agree with your view. And yes, I think it would be a good approach for teachers to encourage students to use technology in a way that they would preserve critical thinking. And I know this is possible because I had a subject in college that was focused on researching and criticise a certain topic with our own opinions, and it worked really well.
