The Mirror and the Mind covers all ways to understand ourselves. Additionally, it illuminates the history of human sciences self-awareness investigations. It also illuminates art's importance in psychotherapy.

The respected Los Angeles County Psychological Association present the beautifully curated two-part exhibition The Mirror and the Mind. A compelling visual arts show, eight-minute meditations, and a thought-provoking book of essays and images are featured. The MACPA uses these platforms to encourage creativity and humanities-based mental health research. The exhibition and book promote new therapeutic healing perspectives and psychotherapy innovation.

The MACPA and its distinguished affiliates, including the Los Angeles County Veterans' Affairs Department and the Miracle Project, a highly regarded non-profit that provides psychological services to veterans, enthusiastically sponsor the exhibition. The exhibition highlights Terry Marks-Tarlow's collaboration with acclaimed UC Los Angeles alumni Pamela McCrory.

The exhibition acknowledges the contributions of psychotherapists, both individually and in teams. Many of the show's artists and performers are well-known. This group includes Terry Marks-Tarlow, Dr. Jennifer Miller, Pamela McCrory, and Efren Mur. "Mirrors of the Mind" gives psychotherapists a rare look inside.

Along with the art exhibit, "Mirrors of a Mind" features engaging performances by prominent psychologists, musicians, and performers. All of the parts are carefully crafted to provide valuable psychotherapy community perspectives.

The exhibit successfully shows how a clean, transparent mirror may allow people to see their own image without distortion. Similar to how the body affects the mind. A distorted mirror may affect a person's self-image when they're agitated or distracted. This is called cleaning.

Chanting Hare Krsna is a spiritually beneficial way to detoxify the mind. Because the process cleans the mind's mirror of dust. A successful Sankirtan follows a similar method. However, any interested person can join a Sankirtan's chants.

The exhibition also has a compelling multimedia video game, eight-minute meditations, and Los Angeles' largest LED screen. For the best viewing experience, see this exhibit in 4K. The books are sold to support charities.

An important benefit of this exhibition is its support for The Soldiers Project, which helps wounded veterans. The show has also received considerable assistance from the MACPA and MCAA, which have advanced human sciences. They support prestigious academic institutions like the Tennenbaum Centre for the Biology of Creativity with funding and resources.
