Behavioral Patterns We Must Implement in Our Life
Throughout our lives, we sign silent agreements with life, with people, with our loved ones. When we hear an idea and believe it, we make an agreement. And this agreement becomes a part of our belief system.
The four agreements that the Toltecs practice are aimed at living life more fully, staying away from sadness and grief, and most importantly, living in the moment.
If we are aware of the agreements that govern our life and we are not happy with our life dream, we need to change the agreements.
There are agreements that will help us when we are ready to change the fear-based agreements that steal our energy.
The first agreement is about “words”. The more carefully we choose the words we use, the more positively we can affect the person in front of us, our friend or anyone else.
The impression we leave on those around us is the same. Good or bad, rude or polite… No matter what the reaction is, we reveal this personality and in return we are met with respect or incompetence.
“As long as a person uses words without thinking, they will never notice the wreckage they leave in front of them.”
In the second agreement, the author tells us, “Don’t take anything personally,” and tells us to stop being selfish. We don’t always have to be right. We are human, we can be wrong, we can make mistakes. The important thing is to protect ourselves from this situation.
Criticisms help us develop our personality. Just as the author says, the goal is not to be accepted or approved. As long as a person knows and recognizes themselves, they will not be exposed to such discomforts.
As long as we can heal our own wounds, it is not possible for someone else to hurt them.
“And you; Love everything, everyone. Because then you can reach the happiness you want.
Don't take anything personally! Trust yourself, tell the truth. In this way, you can get rid of the bad feelings inside you and achieve happiness.”
“The beyond of infinity is within you”. Yes, this infinity is happiness. If we want to be happy, we should not resist being judged and rejected. We should accept everything around us as it is..
Attributing our personal feelings and thoughts to events can lead us to irreparable mistakes. assumptions are wrong. We should change. We should throw away the seeds of different perceptions.
If these seeds fall to the ground once, we will be faced with a production that will not yield any yield.
