Why is Batman Even Allowed in the Justice League? by Dirk Hooper
The Justice League has aliens like Superman and the Martian Manhunter. Wonder Woman was created by gods. The Flash is a product of super science and lightning. Aquaman is an Atlantean. And Batman… he’s just a normal human. Why is he in the Justice League?
First off, not everything that the Justice League deals with requires brute force.
The Dark Knight Detective
If you’ve been watching Batman movies, you might not even know that Batman is the “World’s Greatest Detective.” Batman’s first appearance was in Detective Comics #27 (in 1939).[1]
His knowledge of forensics and science is exceptional, and his deductive skills are off the charts. If you want to know what’s happening and why, you call Batman.
Ninja Stealth and Martial Arts
Every origin of Batman has him visiting Asia to learn the secrets of stealth and martial arts. He’s not just good at martial arts, he’s amazing. He can also sneak into places without being seen, and can disappear in a cloud of smoke.
Superman even calls Batman “the most dangerous man on Earth,” in the JLA “New World Order” story.
Tactical Genius
Batman is the obvious leader of the Justice League. He’s a tactical genius, mostly due to obsessive planning. His ability to out-think his enemies means that even if the Justice League is overpowered, Batman will find a solution.
Batman has a plan on how to take down every single member of the Justice League in case they go rogue. He’s always prepared.
Connections and Money
While he wasn’t born with superpowers, Bruce Wayne was born into wealth. His father amassed an incredible fortune, and was connected to world leaders and business magnates.
If there’s some behind-the-scenes diplomacy, or resources, or some wheels need to be greased, then Batman can get it done.
That money also gives him a bunch of cool gadgets, a sweet ride, and the Batcave.
Resources also allow him to create things like the Justice Buster armor, guns, or anything else he needs to solve unique problems.
Tenacity
If Batman has any superpower, something that makes him more formidable than anyone else, it’s his tenacity.
Batman’s physical abilities and knowledge are due to his tenacity.
He often faces enemies that are stronger than him, but he figures out a way to win. He refuses to give up. Ever.
Why Batman is in the Justice League
But here’s the real reason that Batman is in the Justice League. Batman is you.
If you got in peak physical condition, learned everything about human nature, fighting, stealth, and science, and worked hard… really, really hard, then you TOO could be Batman.
Batman is in Justice League to allow you and me to vicariously play side-by-side with the big boys and girls. And to inspire us to the same greatness.

Tenacity and the self sacrifice are always where I find the most heroism in comics. I think the Daredevil series on Netflix illustrates it the best... it's just hours of DD getting his ass kicked and still going.
I've yet to see Batman's grit brought to life that well on screen, but it should be!
I'm such a big fan of Daredevil, and the Netflix series is better than most movies for sure!

How about why is Ben Affleck Batman?
Man, if Christian Bale was allowed to do it, anyone should be allowed to. I wish Will Arnett had Bale's role. Ben Affleck isn't even that great and he is already in the top 3 Batmans lol.
