Natural Magic Remedy for Hair / Rosemary & Horsetail

Today I want to share with you a natural preparation based on medicinal and aromatic herbs such as Rosemary and Horsetail to recover, fill with life and strengthen our hair.

🌿 Let's talk a little about herbs 🍂
Rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis)
Horsetail (Equisetum arvense)

🌱 Both herbs are exceptional for treating hair. Horsetail, in addition to its numerous medicinal properties, also has great aesthetic benefits in the treatment for hair loss, strengthening and increasing its growth; while Romero is known for its revitalizing and antiseptic properties, which stimulate the roots of the hair, avoiding problems such as falling and favoring its growth. Rosemary stimulates blood circulation and thanks to this our hair looks healthy and silky, in addition, it has been very effective to darken it, so it is ideal to deepen the brown or black hair, thus preventing the appearance of gray hair.

✴ Alright, now we go to the natural magic remedy ... How to use these herbs to help the welfare of our hair? ✰

I, particularly, have two ways to make this work. One is making a tonic based on cooking the herbs and the other making a powder extract.

Equisetum arvense dry

Rosmarinus officinalis fresh and dry

Tonic / Cooking
It consists, as its name indicates, in placing the chopped herbs in water to boil. Then we will strain the water, and when cooling we can use it as a tonic and apply it three times a day the first week, and then we can use it constantly once a day.

Powdered extract
It is done by previously chopping the herbs into small pieces, then we begin to toast them stirring constantly to avoid burning. It is important that they are not very toasted, because the purpose of roasting is to gain a stronger texture to later be easier to grind them, without losing their properties.

Once they are cold, we have to crush them to make a powder. I personally use the blender, but we can use a grinder, mortar... When the powder extract is ready we can add it to all our hair products: shampoo, conditioner, treatment, comb cream...
