INTRODUCTION
The topic brings to mind a lot of troubling questions in the form of curiosity as to what the writer(@desmoniac) could actually mean, but as we all know, steemit is a multi-faced, three dimensional platform, what I like to describe as an "entity", meaning it can be whatever you choose it to be and cannot be restricted to a money making platform, a blogger's world, or a mere social media platform. Just like a friend @donnest once said "steemit is an encyclopedia" and you just can't get enough of it!. Steemians search and search and keep searching to an endless search in their various steemit niche. What so ever the search maybe geared towards, be it fame, wealth, power, among others, steemians unconsciously get addicted to this search.

THE CONTROVERSY
Not withstanding the merits of this search to some and it's demerits to those that literally gave up on it, the former tends to be ignorant of their addiction. Now we consider the good, the bad and the ugly with a few questions in mind;

<> What good can this addiction yield to the youths of Nigeria and its economy at large?

<>Has this addiction done more harm than good?

<>Has steemit addiction been able to give the average Nigerian a three square meal per day or has it successfully increased the number of ulcer patients in hospitals through its busy-bee-success scheme?

<>Is steemit the answer to the prevalent moral decadence in our societies caused by social media platforms or is it another strategy to sideline the status quo?

<>Has steemit taken one's attention from wife, husband, children, siblings, co-workers, boyfriend /girlfriend, or spouse?

<>Has steemit killed big dreams or has it kept them alive?

These are rhetorical questions we all need to answer, cause it serves as a wake up call to the subconscious minds of steemians. Even without taking statistics, you will agree that great minds in quite a good number of renowned professions have been buried under the carpet of steemit where you get to see a destined world class engineer or medical practitioner being limited to everyday steemit blogging and trading addiction and so he/she thinks to him or herself "if I can make $500 or more in a week on steemit, what more is there to worry for. Laziness in the form of sedentary living, not having a need to stand up from that bed or chair while on steemit gradually begins to creep in. This has become the order of the day and while on that chair, it seems like the world has stopped revovling.

CONCLUSION
However, this is an admonishing call for MODERACY as it is said that "too much of anything can be detrimental". So an equal amount of attention shared between steemit and our supposed environmental duties could just be a great way to a happy, healthy, fulfilled, sociable and more profitable life.

Bro all people need is a proper time management and an open mind set.
Steemit is not a get rich quick platform.

Well spoken bro..

Dante is here,No Fear

Lolz.. The boss himself

I don't know what to say cause with the rate some people are taking Steemit as a full time job is alarming and at the same time productive.
