Thyme
Growing herbs is one of my favorite pass-times. I love growing herbs, moreover, I love finding new and different herbs to add to my collective growing. I also LOVE my perennials that are a staple to my garden, like Thyme.
The best thing about my thyme is the fact that I use it A LOT, I mainly use it for seasoning, because it tastes great, but I also use it medicinally throughout the year. My main use for Thyme is for stomach problems. It is highly antibacterial and has been used throughout millennia to treat viral or fungal issues. I still do. In fact my daughter had cramps and trouble urinating, I made a tea for her for two days in a row, guess what? No more stomach problems. I also use it for soar throats and as a mouthwash.
Getting away from the chemicals that are bombarding our systems is not that hard to do, really. Read up on certain plants, follow me, I will do my best to pump out good solid content of my experiences.
As always contact a doctor before you use any herbs as a treatment for any ailment. This post is not a prescription for anything it is only to be used for educational purposes. Your body is your body, cherish it. Have a great garden!
