I decided to write on this subject as it has been a burden in my heart for a long time. Read carefully. This is one of the prophecies Jesus said will be common as His return draws near-- the love of many shall wax cold. There are people I know who were on fire for God sometime ago, some were zealous for the things of God but at a time they started forsaking their first love. Most have forsook the love they had for Jesus and His kingdom.

The end is near and the coming of Jesus is close, you have to be aware that the works of the devil are in a increase, iniquity is increasing and because iniquity is increasing many have lost their first love. It is in this season that you see people forsaking the hunger they had for the Lord. Please search your heart today, question yourself today. Are you one of those who have forsook the first love? Are you still on fire for God? Are you still zealous for the things of God? Have you grown weary?

If you were a powerful soul winner but you cannot remember the last time you won a soul, your love is waxing cold--- if you studied the Bible daily but you no longer study the word, your love is waxing cold. Return to your first love. Jesus is coming soon and He wants us to get back to the track--- love the lord as you loved him when you first accepted Him. Yes Jesus has delayed but he will surely return on of these days. When the Lord returns will He find you on fire for Him? Remember He that endures to the end shall be saved. Do not get weary-- keep living for Lord, serve Jesus diligently. By so doing you'll be with Jesus someday.

Lord Jesus we thank you for your word to us today. We come before you today in repentance and ask you to forgive each one of us our sin. Lord we present our lives to you afresh as a living sacrifice. Purify our lives again, wash us with the blood of Jesus. Remove from our lives every spot and wrinkles, we ask for the grace to live in holiness. Above all, that we may be found righteous at the day of Jesus’s return. In Jesus Christ Name.
